Jacqueline Fernandez grew up in Bahrain, Manama. She is Sri Lankan and comes from a diverse ethnic background. Jacqueline's father Elroy Fernandez is of Sri Lanka (Sinhalese - Catholic)and her mother Kim is a Malaysian. Jacqueline is the youngest of two sisters and an older brother. The reason for this was the war that raged in Sri Lanka that the family made the decision to relocate to Bahrain. Following her education in Bahrain, she was awarded an Scholarship to study at the University of Sydney, where she completed a bachelor's degree of Media and Communications in Sydney, Australia. As a lover of culture as well as languages, she joined Berlitz Language School in which she studied Spanish and honed her French and Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed in the Miss Universe 2006 and Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she won the title in 2006. In 2006, she took home her the Miss Sri Lanka title. After that, she went into television to host a program on Sri Lankan companies known as Lanka Business Report. Padukone had the honor of being a daughter of badminton champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone grew up in Bangalore, but she came from Copenhagen. As a teenager, Padukone competed in national championships of badminton at both the regional and international and international levels. However, she left the game to become a designer. Padukone is of Mangalorean roots and is fluent in Konkani as her native language. Her lineage is from Padukone village located in Kundapura Taluk in the Udupi District of the state of Karnataka, India. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is an old badminton player who is of world-class fame, while her mother is a travel agent.
